Planning permission was granted for this two bedroom house on a restricted site in a conservation area. We worked with Wandsworth Planning Department through the pre-planning process to create a modern home to replace an existing garage. The ground floor is set below street level to reduce the impact of the building when viewed from the road. The proposal uses traditional materials in a modern way with doors and windows designed to let in plenty of light whilst maintaining the privacy of neighbours and residents.
