This London period town house was refurbished to address many years of neglect. The clients wanted a traditional and comfortable home and the house has been totally refurbished with the style of the property setting the tone for the design and style of the décor and fixtures. The period details have been retained and repaired where necessary.

The basement level has a more contemporary feel responding to the entertaiment and practical functions of the space. A lowered floor allowed underfloor heating and has subtly increased the proportions of the rooms. A new hand built kitchen has been fitted, carefully arranged to allow dining in a relatively compact area and a dayroom has full width doors opening out onto a subtle yet functional courtyard garden. Clean and concealed joinery houses all the audio and visual equipment for the property.

A new master suite has been created with cedar dressing room, ensuite and walk in shower room. A bespoke study has been designed and implemented with contemporary styled walnut cabinetry. The top floor has been re-arranged as a bedroom and ensuite shower room – gaining valuable floor space.
